Premium Creamies, Orange Rolls, and allergies

Hello!
Did you enjoy conference?! I certainly did!  I think it was one of my favorite conferences ever :) Who was your favorite? I liked them all ;) BUT one that did stand out to me was Elder Ballard's talk.  I loved that he reminded everybody of what he has already said!  And I am so excited to start talking to the members here more about Preach My Gospel, because I love it.  It truly is an inspired manual for missionaries and members as well.  I study it everyday and it always strengthens my testimony.  This morning I read: "As your understanding of the Atonement of Jesus Christ grows, your desire to share the gospel will increase" (page 2).  I felt a very strong theme during conference that we each need to gain a personal testimony of Jesus Christ and His Atonement in the craziness of the world today.  And as we understand and are converted to this gospel, we will have a very strong desire to share it with everyone around us.  I certainly do!  So I hope you and Dad will get copies of Preach My Gospel and start studying, because it has really helped me through all of the struggles and challenges of being a missionary, and I know it will help you two as well.  We unfortunately did not get to attend conference because we didn't have anyone to take, but that's alright.  We heard that missionaries with seniority in the mission will get to go to conference at least once, so I won't be surprised if I go in October :)
I'm not sure how many times I've spoken in a Sacrament Meeting...maybe 6 or so?  I might be singing at the end of April if I am still here after transfers. I can't believe it's already week 5 of the transfer!  Time is flying.  Whitewashing is fun- hard, but fun :)
I sent a letter to Grama so hopefully she'll get it soon.  I hope she can get some rest and get through this difficult time.  I'm really glad Geneve is there.
Yay a package! The mustache picture was at the Women's Broadcast at the stake center- they set up a photo booth :) I'm glad you've been getting pictures lately, I was just thinking that no one has really sent them in a long time.  I love this area- we don't have a whole ton of people that we're teaching yet because we're still getting to know everybody and trying to get around without getting lost, but we've had some really neat teaching experiences with less active and inactive people.  We'll find an investigator soon, though.  This week we MIGHT be biking, but we've just walked so far.  Sister Gough needs a lock for her bike before we can take them.  I want to though since walking takes forever.  We live in the Ashby's basement, but it seems like a house to me haha.  We have a separate entrance and everything!
You're having the Sister's over?! YES. Just don't force feed them ;) oh and if you talk to them about Preach My Gospel I'm sure they'd be thrilled!
Yay no more snow!  The weather here has been pretty gloomy.  All cloudy and rainy.  But today it is sunny and beautiful so hopefully we're done with that for now at least.  Oh allergies.  I'm waiting for mine to kick in....
I actually haven't had any Premium Creamies yet, but I have had Orange Rolls :) when I get home I probably will never want to look at food again, though.  I'm glad Noelle got the Grant!  That's probably a lot of stress off of her now.

Well I guess I'll get going!  Some choice quotes from this past week:
"We all have the gift of immorality" (meaning immortality)
"We ask a blessing pecan" (we ask a blessing upon)
- courtesy of Sister Gough :) We can't speak very well early in the morning when we are having companion study...hahaha
Have a wonderful week! Love You!

PS We received a call on Saturday from a lady in the Ward who told us a solicitor showed up at their door during conference and asked if she could watch it with their family.  They let her watch it and then she asked if she could meet the missionaries... The lady gave us Jaquita's hotel number since she is staying here from out of state, but when we called the hotel we found out that they aren't allowed to give us her information, so hopefully someday Jaquita will be baptized :) I can't make this stuff up...

*****I decided to start a family blog because it seemed like I was putting a bunch of random family info/pictures on Leslea's mission blog-so if you want to look at that the link is:

Leslea said everyone was teasing them about being twins in the grey sweaters-haha.  I love the bicycle shirt!  One of Leslea's friends sent it to her--thanks Michelle;)  It's really cute!
